Data storage:

Our system automatically replaces oldest video files when the hard drive is full. High Speed Video Catcher provides the choice of stop recording or overwrite oldest recording. More hard drive space is excellent for storing video files for a longer time before erasure or backup. The following list the approximate amount of storage space required for 24 hour continuous recording.

Video Catcher No. of Input Recording Method Recording Period Hard Drive Used No. of Days of Recording
VC High Speed 4, 8, 16 Continuous 24 hours 120GB 5 -10 days
VC High Speed 4, 8, 16 Continuous 24 hours 250GB 12 - 24 days

To save storage space, one can use lower CPU speed, or motion detection recording, or reduce recording rate provide by the Video Catcher software.
