Extract a Video Clip and Transfer for Remote Viewing

Extract a Video Clip:

Important: Before you extract a recorded video, ensure that:

  • You have stopped recording

  • You have enough hard drive space for the file to be saved

Procedure:

1. First of all, you will load a recorded video using the Playback function.

2. At the Playback window, using the slide bar pointer, move the pointer to where you want to start extraction. 

3. Place your mouse cursor on the video and right click for the following features:

4. Select "Extract", then "start"

5. Enter File name, this video clip will be stored under the directory name "ImageExtract".

6. Repeat the steps #2 and 3, then select "Extract" and "stop" at the end of extraction.

7. The clipped video can be found under the the directory (folder) by the name "ImageExtract".
 

Transferring for Remote Viewing:

Bring along the original VC software CD and install the client software on the remote PC. Run the client software, leave IP address blank when prompted. Select "local view" and use the Playback function for loading your extracted video clip.
